유치원 아동의 구강건강 관리실태에 대한 조사연구

Abstract
결론
학령전 아동을 교육하고 있는 유치원 과정에서 구강보건교육과 구강건강관리실태를 파악하
고 그 문제점을 파악할 목적으로 조사를 실시하였다. 부산직할시 소재 유치원 중에서 50개
를 무작위추출하여 아동들의 건강관리 내용 및 상황, 구강보건교육의 내용 및 그 실태, 식이
관리상황, 아동의 구강보건행동관리 등의 실태에 관한 33개 항목의 설문지를 작성하고, 유치
원의 관리 책임직원과의 면담을 통해 자료를 수집, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 기본적인 건강관리습관의 체득을 위한 교육은 대부분 이루어지고 있었으나, 이닦기 방법
과 식이조절을 위한 교육은 미미한 실정이었다.
2. 12개의 유치원(24.00%)만이 구강검진을 실시하고 있었으며, 실시하고 있는 곳에서는 모
두 검진결과를 보호자에게 통보하고 있었으나, 6개의 유치원(12.00%)만이 치료여부의 확인
을 하고 있었다.
3. 다양한 체계로 간식과 중식이 제공되고 있었으나, 식단작성과정에서 구강건강을 위한 노
력은 찾기 힘들었고, 식습관교육은 다소나마 이루어지고 있었다.
4. 아동들의 치아우식증, 치아외상, 구강악습관 및 부정교합 등에 관한 유치원 교육 종사자
들의 인식도는 매우 낮게 나타났으며, 이들에 대한 교육과정에 구강보건교육 관련 내용의
보강이 절실하였다.

For the purpose of evaluating the oral health education and care system of
kindergartens, a survery was performed on the 50 kindergartens in Pusan. Direct
questioning to the duty teachers for education of kindergartens, their states of oral
health education, diet control, oral health care and their recognition of children's major
oral diseases were evaluated.
The results were as follows :
1. Although the basic education for health care behaviours were performed, education
for tooth brushing and diet control was thought insufficient.
2. Examinations for oral health state were not performed in most kindergartens, and
where oral examination was done, informed the results to parents, but only a few
kindergarten ascertain whether the informed diseases were treated.
3. Under various systems, kindergartens offerd lunch and between-meals, but there
could be found little effort for caries prevention through diet planning.
4. The state of teachers' recognition in kindergartens about children's major dental and
oral diseases was thought very low. The education for children's oral health care during
the education course for teachers should be reindforced.
